Stopped at Castle Eilean Donan.

Monday 11th, Portree to Uig
Stopped at the big cliff, Kilt Rock.
Walked over the ruins at Duntulm.
Visited the Lighthouse at Neist Point.
Had a look in at Skye Sliver on the way back to Uig.
Stayed at Laural Bank.
Tuesday 12th, Uig to Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.
Caught the ferry from Uig to Tarbert, Isle of Harris.
Saw the beaches on the west of Harris, back up the windy east side.
Drove to the Standing stones near Callanish.
Also stopped at the Brock near Dun Carloway.
Stayed at Mrs Macdonnald’s
Wednesday 13th, Stornoway to Portree, Isle of Skye.
Drove to the Butt of Lewis, stopped off at some beaches and the Light house.
Caught ferry from Stornoway to Uig, Isle of Skye.
Drove back down to Portree
Ate dinner at the Boswell Bistro.
Stayed at Mrs Matthersons’
Thursday 14th, Portree to Fionnphort, Isle of Mull.
Rode heavy highland horses at Armadale
Drove back to the mainland to Oban.
Caught ferry to Craignure, Isle of Mull.
Very nice drive to Fionnphort at the far western tip of the island.
Explored the beaches.
Stayed at Staffa House.
Friday 15th, Fionnphort to Oban, Mainland.
Boat trip to Isle of Staffa, to see Basalt columns. Stopped off on Iona on the way back.
Explored Iona Abbey and waited for ferry back to Mull.
Drove back to Craignure via Duart castle (was closed)
Caught ferry back to Oban.
Stayed at B&B in Oban.
Saturday 16th, Oban to Dundee.
Drove back home via the SOS Seal rescue & marine wildlife centre.
Grey skies all the way back.
